Al-Ameen Tijani has described his time with the Super Eagles during the Unity Cup as a valuable learning experience despite the short stay in camp.

The Shooting Stars S.C. defender admitted he gained significant knowledge from working closely with Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle and the technical crew.
“It was a very important learning experience for me,” Tijani said.
According to the defender, the opportunity to train within the national team setup exposed him to higher standards and tactical demands.
“I learned a lot from the coaching staff and senior players,” he implied.
Tijani also praised the atmosphere within the Super Eagles camp, stressing that the experience has motivated him further in his football journey.
“The environment pushed me to improve myself,” he noted.
The Shooting Stars defender revealed that he now hopes to apply the lessons gained from the national team to help his club achieve success in continental competitions.
“I want to bring the experience back to help my club,” he added.
Nigeria’s Unity Cup campaign gave several home-based players their first opportunity to experience life within the senior national team environment.
