The San Antonio Spurs kept their season alive with a dominant home-court performance in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, crushing the Oklahoma City Thunder by 27 points to level the series at 3-3.
After a quiet outing in Game 5, Victor Wembanyama responded in emphatic fashion, leading the Spurs with 28 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, while also knocking down four three-pointers.
The series now returns to Oklahoma City for a decisive Game 7, with a place in the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks on the line.
Despite their commanding win in Game 6, San Antonio remain underdogs with Sky Bet for the series decider at 5/4, while Oklahoma City are 8/13 favourites to reach the Finals for a second straight season.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs: Who will be crowned champions of the West?
Elsewhere in the points market, it is no surprise to see Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama leading the way for their respective teams.
For those expecting another big performance from Gilgeous-Alexander, Sky Bet have him at a short 10/11 to score 30 or more points.Â
However, bigger prices are available for higher totals, with the Thunder star priced at 9/4 to score 35+ points and 6/1 to reach 40+.Â
Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 35 points in nine playoff games during his career, with two of those performances seeing him break the 40-point mark. Notably, he dropped 42 points against the Phoenix Suns earlier in this postseason.
Meanwhile, although this is only Wembanyama’s first playoff campaign, the French phenom has already shown he can thrive under the brightest lights.Â
The 7-foot-5 star has scored 33 or more points on four occasions during this playoff run, including a stunning 41-point display against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the series.
With that in mind, Wembanyama is priced at 7/4 to score 30+ points in Game 7, while odds of 9/2 are available for 35+ points and 9/1 for a 40-point performance.
With both superstars capable of taking over on the biggest stage, Game 7 could ultimately come down to which franchise player delivers the defining performance of the series.
