The Israeli military issued an order on Wednesday for the demolition of seven apartments in the Qalandya village, north of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
Israeli forces reportedly stormed the village and gave residents military notices, ordering them to self-demolish their homes, supposedly for being built without licenses, and have given them until the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday on 30 May to do so.
They warned that if the owners do not comply, the army will carry out the demolition themselves and impose heavy financial fines on the residents.
