Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele has given an update on his fitness ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal
Paris Saint-Germain star has confirmed that he is feeling “better” after suffering an injury before the Champions League final against Arsenal.
The Gunners will take on the Ligue 1 giants on Saturday in Budapest as they look to win the club’s first-ever European Cup.
Arsenal defeated Atletico Madrid to reach the final, while PSG got past Bayern Munich in their semi-final contest.
Dembele handed PSG an injury scare earlier this month after suffering a suspected calf injury during their final Ligue 1 fixture of the season against Paris FC.
This led to fears that the Ballon d’Or winner could be a doubt for the Champions League final against Arsenal, although Dembele went on to state that he still expects to feature in the showpiece fixture against in Budapest.

Dembele has now offered a fresh update on his fitness, stating that he has no concerns about the injury.
“I’m feeling much better than on Sunday,” Dembele said in an interview with M6. “I had a minor scare, but the doctor told me there’s nothing to worry about.
He added: “It’s my calf; I had a slight twinge in my calf and I preferred not to take the risk.”
The update from Dembele came after the forward did not take part in an in-house friendly held by PSG last weekend.
The France international offered another update at the time, stating that he fully expects to be available to face Arsenal in the Champions League final.

“I’m doing very well. I had a slight scare against Paris FC, but I’m fine and I’ll be ready for the final,” Dembele said.
“Will I be 100 per cent for the final? Yes, I think so. Yes, I’ll be ready. I have no doubt about it. I hope to be on the pitch on May 30th.”
Achraf Hakimi could be a doubt for PSG in the final against the Gunners, wth the full-back also not taking part in the in-house friendly.
The Morocco international faces a race against time to be fit to face Arsenal, which could result in Warren Zaïre-Emery starting at right-back.
