Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi has described his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles as the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.
The forward reacted emotionally after being named in Nigeria’s squad ahead of the upcoming Unity Cup tournament.

“It’s a dream come true for me,” Durosinmi said.
According to the striker, receiving a Super Eagles invitation remains a massive honour considering the huge number of talented Nigerian players competing across the world.
“There are so many great Nigerian players everywhere,” he implied.
Durosinmi revealed that his family and representatives were overwhelmed with excitement after hearing the news of his call-up.
“Everybody around me was extremely happy,” he noted.
The striker also stressed that representing Nigeria at senior level is something he has dreamed about since childhood.
“Wearing the Super Eagles jersey means everything to me,” he added.
Durosinmi further revealed that he closely studies top Nigerian forwards including Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu and Akor Adams as part of his development.
“I learn a lot from watching them,” he stressed.
The striker hopes to build a lasting legacy with the national team by always giving his best whenever called upon.
“I want to be remembered for always fighting for Nigeria,” he added.
