Israeli strikes across southern Lebanon kill 31 people

Israeli air strikes across southern Lebanon killed 31 people and wounded 40 others on Tuesday, according to the latest figures from Lebanon’s Health Ministry.

The casualties followed multiple attacks targeting the towns and villages of Burj Shemali, Kouthariyat al-Ruz, Hboosh, Maarakeh and Salaa.

Lebanon’s National News Agency also reported additional Israeli strikes across the south. Two air strikes hit Burj Rahal, while a powerful strike was reported in Kawthariyat al-Ruz in the Tyre district.

The Israeli military also launched two strikes on the town of Srifa and another on Burj Rahal in the Tyre district. Three raids were reported in the town of as-Sawana and one in Qabrikha in the Marjayoun district.
