US President Donald Trump has issued an urgent health update to his supporters, but some have been left confused. Mr Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to announce he’d finished a physical exam, which concluded that “everything checked out perfectly”.
He wrote: “Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House. President DJT.” The physical was described by the White House as an annual preventative medical and dental checkup.
It marked Mr Trump’s fourth publicly disclosed medical exam since he returned to office for a second term.
One person joked on X: “At this point I’m convinced Trump approaches presidential health updates the same way he approaches golf scores, election maps, and crowd sizes: not merely healthy… the healthiest anyone has ever been in the history of health.”
Another wrote: “ACES??” That’s hilarious. He’s morbidly obese, hands are constantly bruised, has chronic insomnia, swollen ankles, and obvious early stage dementia. And that just what we can see.”
A third added: “He clearly has cardiac issues as evidenced by his feet swelling.”
One said: “The fact the left WISHES his health was failing is seriously demented. Keep winning, 47!”
Another commented: “Great news — the President is in outstanding health and heading back to the White House strong and ready to lead. Thank you to the dedicated doctors and staff at Walter Reed!”
