Iranian foreign minister meets Pakistan army chief in Tehran

Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi held talks with Pakistani army chief Asim Munir in Tehran on Friday, with the two discussing diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing further escalation and ending the US-Israel war on Iran.

According to a post on Araghchi’s Telegram channel, the pair exchanged views on the latest diplomatic initiatives and efforts to reduce tensions in the region.

The meeting reportedly continued late into the night as discussions focused on possible paths towards de-escalation.
