Arsenal have been linked with Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi as the summer transfer window approaches

Eli Junior Kroupi update
Arsenal are reported to be eyeing Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi but the Cherries have no intention of selling. The teenager has already endeared himself to Gunners supporters by netting against City on Tuesday, a goal that ultimately handed Arsenal the Premier League title.
football.london understands Kroupi is a summer target for the Gunners, but according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea also said to be keeping tabs on the forward ahead of the summer window. However, the report states that Bournemouth have made their stance clear that the France U21 international is not for sale.
The Cherries are said to have no desire to sell one of their prized assets as manager Andoni Iraola prepares to depart the club. Kroupi has netted 13 in 32 Premier League appearances this season, averaging a goal every 124 minutes. Bournemouth could yet secure Champions League football when they face Nottingham Forest in their final fixture on Sunday.
Target prepares for farewell
Sporting CP skipper Morten Hjulmand is widely anticipated to make his final appearance for the club on Sunday. The Denmark international is gearing up to face Torreense in the Taca de Portugal final.
Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha reports that Hjulmand “wants to say goodbye” by lifting the trophy this weekend. The publication has previously described Arsenal as “leading the race” for his signature, alongside Manchester United.
The defensive midfielder’s contract contains a £69million release clause, though he is expected to leave for roughly half that figure, with Sporting already working to identify his successor. Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are also said to be keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old.
Hjulmand made the move to Sporting from Lecce in 2023, taking the captaincy 12 months later. The Danish midfielder has claimed two Primeira Liga titles and one Taca de Portugal during his spell at the club as he seeks to add another trophy to his haul.
