Thierry Henry, David Beckham, and Lewis Hamilton have led tributes on social media after Arsenal were crowned as the new Premier League champions.
Thierry Henry has congratulated Arsenal for winning the Premier League. The Gunners were crowned as the new champions of England on Tuesday night when Bournemouth held Manchester City to a draw at the Vitality Stadium.
Upon the full-time whistle, the Arsenal legend reposted a graphic, created and uploaded by the club, to his Instagram story. Then, on Wednesday morning, Henry penned a ‘special’ message to Mikel Arteta’s side.
Captioning a carousel of pictures, including himself in a retro shirt and a tifo at the Emirates Stadium, the Frenchman wrote: “Arsenal Nation, finally we can celebrate. Special thanks to this generation – finally now my kids saw us winning a title [red and white heart emojis] #goonerforelife.”

David Beckham also shared a heartwarming moment with family when it was confirmed that Arsenal had won the Premier League. The Manchester United legend jumped on a FaceTime call with his son, Romeo, who was quick to notify him that the Gunners were the new champions of England.
Beckham uploaded a screenshot of the encounter to his Instagram story, which he captioned: “@romeobeckham The moment Arsenal became champions and my son calls to remind me [laughing emoji].”
David Seaman appeared to have a good evening as well. The Arsenal legend uploaded a picture of a bottle of Duppy Share Caribbean Rum to his Instagram story, which he captioned: “All the lights in the house are red tonight and we’re celebrating in style playing North London Forever on repeat [red and white heart emojis]!!”
Seaman, who also treated himself to an Arsenal cupcake, posted pictures of himself with former players Robert Pires, Martin Keown, and Rachel Yankey, as well as the club mascot, Gunnersaurus Rex.
Jorginho congratulated the Arsenal players on FaceTime, calling up Gabriel Jesus, Jurrien Timber, and Bukayo Saka. Dani Ceballos also commended his former teammates, writing on X: “Congratulations to Arsenal, the players and the fans for winning the league title.
“Especially to Mikel Arteta. You always believed in the club and worked harder than anyone to achieve this. You deserve it, boss. Congratulations, family [red heart emoji]. @Arsenal.”
Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka singled out Arteta for his hard work in a classy message on Instagram. The Sunderland midfielder, who spent seven years at Arsenal, winning two FA Cups and two Community Shields, wrote: “A special team, great players, and a club that never stopped believing but this is all because of you, Mikel.
“To everyone who doubted you, give this man and this coach the respect he deserves. Congratulations to the whole @arsenal family.”
Lewis Hamilton chimed in on Wednesday morning, too. On X, keeping it short and sweet, the Formula One driver wrote: “COYG [explosion emoji].”
On Instagram, Mohamed Elneny expressed his love for the club. Captioning a picture of himself hugging Arteta, the former Arsenal midfielder wrote: “Soooooooooo Happy I can’t stop celebrating I can’t tell how I feel for this achievement for the club, the team, and the fans. I love you, Arsenal.”
And on his story, Nicolas Bendtner urged Arsenal to go for the double. Later this month, the Gunners will lock horns with Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
The former Arsenal striker said: “How much I LOVE this club. So well deserved. It’s been coming and Arteta and the boys did it. Massive congratulations. What a squad and chemistry. Now let’s go for the double and win the Championship League.”
