Speaking to parliamentarians and their families assembled on the South Lawn, the First Lady paused the evening’s proceedings to reveal that the House had approved the Fostering the Future Act.

She subsequently directed her remarks towards the Senate, encouraging lawmakers to maintain progress on the bill.
