Israeli strikes in Gaza kill one, wound several in Khan Younis and Gaza City

Israeli air strikes on Khan Younis and Gaza City have killed one person and wounded several others, according to local reports.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli strike on the Khan Younis area killed one person and injured others. In Gaza City, nine people were wounded after an air raid hit near the Broadcasting and Television Authority building in the Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood, southwest of the city. The injured were taken to Al-Quds Hospital, operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Medical sources said the overall death toll in Gaza has risen to 72,763, with 172,664 people wounded since October 7, 2023.

They added that since October 11, at least 871 people have been killed and 2,562 injured, while 776 bodies have been recovered.
