Israeli shelling reported in Lebanon, as army issues expulsion orders to towns

The Israeli army early on Friday issued expulsion threats to residents in several towns, a number of them in or near the southern city of Tyre.

Meanwhile, artillery shelling and shooting was reported in a few areas south of the country, including the town of Qalawiya and Wadi al-Hujeir.

An overnight drone attack also targeted an apartment building in Hawsh Tyre at night, causing a fire and injuries.

The latest Israeli attacks comes in spite of diplomatic talks between Tel Aviv and Beirut.
