Chiefs coach Andy Reid hints he's invited to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's star-studded wedding

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has dropped a major hint that he is among the invitees for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding this summer. 

During an appearance on 96.5’s The Drive, the three-time Super Bowl winner was grilled on whether had received his invitation to the year’s most anticipated wedding.

On Thursday, Reid explained: ‘Well, I probably have. And if I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going. But you keep talking about this barbecue, I might have to go get some’. 

The Drive host Carrington Harrison suggested that the Chiefs coach should get a new ensemble for the special occasion, however, Reid didn’t seem to keen.

Reid replied: ‘I’m not the show – I’m just going to show up. I’m so happy for them. When you come down to it, it doesn’t matter how big the show is around them. 

‘They’re in love and that’s the most important thing,’ the 68-year-old added.

Kelce popped the question back in August and Swift shared photos from the engagement on Instagram with the caption: ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married’

On the same day as Reid’s interview, global popstar Swift was spotted out in New York City, opting for a bridal white outfit on the day.

The 36-year-old Grammy winner, who rocked a chic white dress while stopping by Lena Dunham’s 40th birthday bash on Tuesday, flashed a smile as she arrived at the exclusive membership club Zero Bond. 

It comes shortly after TMZ reported that the music artist is inviting guests and celebrity pals to her upcoming wedding via phone call.  

Sources claimed to the outlet that Swift has been making some calls herself while her team has also been helping with others. 

However, guests have not been informed of the exact location of the nuptials or a specific date. Instead, they have been told to keep schedules open for the summer. 

Insiders told TMZ that calling guests rather than sending traditional invitations is meant to keep wedding details private and prevent leaks. 

The Daily Mail has reached out to Swift’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
