A young woman has reportedly suffered catastrophic brain injuries after falling from a balcony while allegedly trying to escape being raped by a group of men.
The victim is said to have fallen from the second floor of an apartment building in Germany while trying to flee the five unidentified suspects, according to Bild. Local police have confirmed an investigation is underway.
Police, paramedics and the fire department raced to the building on Senftenberger Straße at 3:15am on Tuesday.
