Two women were thrown to the ground whilst enjoying a coffee in a horrific incident that saw a car smash into a cafe.
The pair were rushed to hospital after the white Toyota Camry ploughed into the diners at the food spot in Melbourne, Australia.
The shocking crash took place at Bakers Choice on Watsonia Road in the north-east of the city just before 2.30pm on Wednesday, May 13.
CCTV footage shows the horrifying moment the women were flung from their seats as the car hit into their chairs.
One woman was trapped under the vehicle as it continued on to hit the cafe next door.
She was rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
The second woman who was thrown from her seat was taken to Austin Hospital.
Both women are now in a stable condition.
A worker at the cafe next door told 7News said there was a lot of commotion after the car collided with the store.
Tony Rabie said: “We just heard a whole lot of screaming and heard something smash.
“We ran out from the barber shop next door and unfortunately there was an old lady just trapped under the car and another lady in front of the bakery.”
The driver of the Camry was parked next to the outdoor table when they lost control of the car when driving off.
Victoria Police confirmed no charges were laid over the incident.
