Arsenal are now on the home straight in the Premier League title race following Sunday’s 1-0 win at West Ham
Win their final two Premier League matches and Arsenal are champions. It’s the simplest of messages for the Gunners following Sunday’s 1-0 triumph over West Ham at the London Stadium.
They also now enjoy a full week of rest before hosting relegated Burnley and then travelling to Crystal Palace on the final day of the top-flight season.
Palace, of course, have the UEFA Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano just three days later in Leipzig, so are unlikely to be at full strength.
If Arsenal do win their final two games, they will finish on 85 points meaning they cannot be caught by Man City.
City are currently on 74 points with three games to play and can reach a maximum points total on 83.

Pep Guardiola’s men play Palace in midweek before the FA Cup final, they then travel to Bournemouth before hosting Aston Villa on the final day of the season.
If City drop points against the Eagles, who beat them in last season’s FA Cup final, Arsenal can win the league next Monday against Burnley on home soil.
If City do win and Arsenal do too, there’s still a chance the Gunners could be crowned champions next Tuesday when Bournemouth host City at the Vitality Stadium.
It’s Andoni Iroala’s final home match at the helm for the Cherries and he will want to sign off in style.
Furthermore, Bournemouth can actually still qualify for the Champions League. They can still catch fifth-place Aston Villa while if Villa win the Europa League, a Champions League spot will be pushed down to sixth.
Bournemouth, who are currently on a a 16-match unbeaten run, are now strong favourites to capitalise following their 1-0 win at Fulham on Saturday.
Either way, Arsenal are in an incredibly commanding position and it would now require a serious collapse for them to throw a position of such superiority away.
Guardiola’s men will fight until the end but they have a tough churn of games over the course of the next two weeks and it’s hard to see them being faultless.
The FA Cup is also a chance to win a piece of silverware so Guardiola won’t be taking the Wembley showpiece against Chelsea lightly.
