Five-time African champion Esther Kolawole has called for greater recognition and rewards following her latest triumph at the African Wrestling Championships in Alexandria, Egypt.
Kolawole dominated the 62kg category, defeating South Africa’s Katelyn Swan in a commanding 10–0 victory to secure her fifth continental title.

“I deserve to be rewarded,” she said.
