Jailed Iranian Nobel laureate Narges Mohammadi is currently “between life and death” after being taken to hospital, according to her supporters.
On Friday the campaigner – who was arrested in December after speaking out against the Islamic Republic – was “urgently transferred to a hospital in Zanjan today” after a rapid deterioration, “including two episodes of complete loss of consciousness and a severe cardiac crisis”.
Supporters said on Tuesday that she was currently hanging “between life and death” in the Zanjan hospital.
