Pensioner Stephanie Thomson, 75, vanished from a campsite in western France and has not been seen since her disappearance on January 29, sparking concern among her family
A daughter has told how her mum has been missing for three months after she vanished from a French campsite.
Pensioner Stephanie Thomson, 75, was last seen at the Camping les Vigeres site in Le Chalard in France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine region on January 29.
The beloved mum-of-one lived out her dream retirement in the French countryside with her husband Ken since they moved in 2012.
But the dream retirement turned into a nightmare scenario when Stephanie vanished following a trip to a local supermarket. Her daughter Tracy, 55, from Redcar, Teesside, described the wait for answers as agonising.
Tracy has described the last three months without her mum as “a living hell.” She added it was not a situation she ever believed the family would be in.
“Not knowing where she is is one of the hardest things to try and get my head around,” she said, reported The Sun. “I hope she is safe, but every single scenario is running through my mind. It’s torturous. Your mind never switches off.”
