Arsenal star Bukayo Saka scored the winner against Atletico Madrid and wanted to celebrate with his teammates after the win as he jokingly made clear to the Prime Video reported
Arsenal match-winner Bukayo Saka complained to Prime Video reporter Gabriel Clarke that his post-match interview on Amazon Prime was taking him away from the celebrations after beating Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The England international scored the only goal of the game to see the Gunners through to the final in Budapest later this month, with Bayern Munich or PSG awaiting them.
Arsenal put in a professional performance to end their 20 year wait for an appearance in the Champions League final, with the Premier League title now also back in their own control after Manchester City’s draw with Everton.
The Gunners are on the brink of the most memorable season in the club’s 140-year history, with Saka’s goal the difference on Tuesday night.
The Arsenal winger, who was just four when Thierry Henry and Co were beaten by Barcelona in the 2006 final, joked with Clarke that he wanted to be celebrating with his fellow players after the full-time whistle.
When asked what it meant to the team and club, he told Amazon Prime Video: “Hey you’re taking me away from the celebrations man!
“It’s so beautiful. What it means to us, what it means to the fans. We’re all so happy. This game is a high pressure game and it means a lot to both sides.
“We managed to manage [the game] well and take ourselves to the final so we’re happy.”

When asked about the atmosphere at the Emirates, Saka said: “It started before the game when we were arriving on the coaches, I’ve never seen anything like it.
“They pushed us, and pushed us, and pushed us. They’ve got their special moment at the end so we’re celebrating it together.”
The goal against Atletico was Saka’s 81st for the club and when asked if there had been a more special one, he said: “Maybe. It’s definitely up there.
“In those situations I just try to stay alive and sometimes it bounces for you, sometimes it doesn’t but you have to be there.
“I was there and it fell for me. I got my goal, so glory to god and we’ll go to the final now.”
Pressure has been on the Gunners to end the season with silverware having been the standout team in the Champions League and dominating the Premier League for the majority of the campaign.
“There’s no way you’re going to be in this position and not have pressure. In the semi-finals, now we’re in the final of the Champions League.
“We’re fighting for the Premier League, so how can you not expect people to talk about you and criticise you? We have to block it out and focus on getting the job done. We did that and it’s another step forward.”
