Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua has been tipped to defeat his fellow-British rival, Tyson Fury when they both step into the ring towards the end of this year.
Sportsz247 reports that the huge prediction in Joshua’s favour is coming from another one of his rivals and current world champion, Oleksandr Usyk, who has surprisingly become a close friend of the former champ.

With Joshua having turned up in training at Usyk’s gym and was a guest at the champion’s recent boxing show in Ukraine, he is bound to get immense support from his new friend heading into the November bout with Fury.
A symbolic vote of confidence has now gone out in favour of ‘AJ,’ as Usyk not only declared that the London 2012 Olympic Games gold medalist will defeat ‘The Gypsy King,’ he is also helping him come up with a strategy to win the contest.
Before then, the 31-year-old Joshua will return to the ring on July 25th to face Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of which he has been training with the undefeated Usyk in recent months.
Joshua has also spent time with the two-time undisputed heavyweight champion in Spain and Ukraine, thereby cementing the flourishing relationship between the Nigerian-born boxer and the man who previously defeated him twice.
Usyk, who has also defeated Joshua’s British rival, told BBC Sport: “In my opinion, AJ wins against Fury. I like Fury, he is my greedy belly best friend, he’s an amazing fighter but I want Anthony to win.
“Fury is an unbelievable fighter and Fury is a very dangerous guy, but I look at how Anthony works and how he has changed – he deserves it.”
