NNL Super-4: Fans Should Expect Very Best Of Nigerian Football – George Aluo

Fans of the round leather game have been informed that they should expect the very best of Nigerian football at the 2026 NNL Super-4 that begins this Monday at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.

Sports247 reports that this promise was served by chairman of the second-tier Nigeria National League (NNL), George Aluo, who also enthused that this year’s Super-4 competition will be the best so far.

He spoke with excitement in his voice ahead of the opening ceremony, which reports indicated will be graced by former minister of sports, Chief Sunday Dare, and the president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, among many other dignitaries.

Their presence will add extra motivation to players of Ranchers Bees, Inter Lagos, Sporting Lagos and Doma United to give their best, after topping their respective NNL groups and gaining promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

The NNL and its investor, Toptier Sports Management, have also set aside ₦10m for the Super-4 winner, while the teams will receive ₦2m each as participation fee, thereby adding more prestige to the competition that will determine Nigeria’s second-tier champion for 2026.

All of this has set the stage for what Aluo believes will be a truly satisfactory exhibition of pure Nigerian football artistry, with six matches that will thrill football lovers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week.

Aluo affirmed, “We are ready. Every detail is in place. Football lovers should expect the very best of Nigerian football. I’m urging fans to come out in numbers and back their teams. This Super Four will be special.”
