Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has denied that two merchant vessels crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, calling the claims from US Central Command “baseless and complete lies”.
The IRGC said that no commercial vessels or tankers have transited through their blockade of the strait over the last few hours, according to Iranian news organisation Tasnim.
