Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean has taken the NFL’s biggest rivalry to a romantic new level by ‘hard launching’ his new relationship.
The cornerback, 23, was spotted at the Kentucky Derby alongside Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Abby Summers, seemingly confirming months of dating rumors.
Dressed in a sharp suit, the former Iowa standout posed for for a TikTok with Summers, who stunned in a classic Derby outfit at Churchill Downs on Saturday.
Fans quickly flocked to the comment section of the video to congratulate the couple, with one of Summers’ cheerleading teammates, Kleine Powell, writing: ‘Derby day aka hard launch day’.
Meanwhile, McKenna Gehrke, another cheerleader for the Cowboys, wrote: ‘BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!’ as she celebrated the news.
The couple first sparked rumors in March when they were seen courtside together at an Iowa basketball game, though they remained quiet until now.

DeJean had been checking out his alma mater when eagle-eyed fans identified that he was with in the crowd with Summers, immediately sparking dating rumors.Â
Summers has become a recognizable face after starring in the Netflix docuseries ‘America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’.
She is also a former Ohio State dance team member. On Instagram, she boasts 188,000 followers, along with a further 460,000 followers on TikTok.Â
Summers is also the founder of the ‘Colab Collective’ clothing brand. The nature of their relationship remains unclear after their public sighting.
DeJean had previously been linked with 42-year-old Nikki since they posed together at the Eagles’ training camp in the summer. Later in the season, she would attend an Eagles game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
More fuel was thrown on the fire when she was spotted in the Eagles’ locker room – sitting in DeJean’s spot.Â
However, DeJean later addressed the rumors himself after being grilled about Bella by sports host Kay Adams on her FanDuel show ‘Up & Adams’.
As he discussed the prospect of being a ‘fun uncle’ when Eagles teammate and good friend Reed Blankenship’s baby is born this year, Adams teased the NFL player by asking: ‘And Aunt Nikki Bella?’
