Boston – among the leading favourites to come out of the East – are priced at 4/9 to close out the series. 

In the outright series market, Philadelphia are long shots at 10/1 to complete the comeback from 3–1 down and advance in seven games.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets

The final game of the triple-header sees the Denver Nuggets take on the Minnesota Timberwolves, with the defending champions under real pressure in this first-round matchup.

Denver, the third seed and one of the pre-playoff favourites in the West, have struggled to contain a Timberwolves side that has caused them consistent problems in recent seasons – including a seven-game series defeat in the 2024 playoffs. 

Despite entering as the sixth seed, Minnesota looked on course for a statement upset after racing into a 3–1 lead.

A key factor has been their ability to limit Nikola Jokic, with the three-time MVP shooting well below his usual efficiency. 

However, injuries in Game 4 – impacting both Donte DiVincenzo and Anthony Edwards – shifted the momentum, giving Denver a potential route back into the series. 

The Nuggets capitalised in Game 5, cutting the deficit to 3–2, and now head on the road aiming to force a decisive Game 7.
