Arsenal are one of the teams to be linked with a transfer interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ahead of the summer transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has shown Arsenal why they should do everything they can to sign him this summer. Mikel Arteta ‘s side are on the lookout for a new left winger, with Kvaratskhelia the standout option.
The 25-year-old was in Champions League semi-final action for PSG on Tuesday night and played a big role in his side’s 5-4 win over Bayern Munich. It was a game which caught the imagination of football fans watching on – with Kvaratskhelia one of the standouts.
The winger scored twice as he helped PSG take a narrow lead into next week’s second leg at the Allianz Arena.

His first saw him place the ball into the bottom right corner to draw his team level. He made the scoreline 4-2 in the second half, running onto the ball and powering it past Manuel Neuer.
Arsenal would have been watching the match closely ahead of the first leg of their semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night. The winners of both ties will meet in the final on May 30 at the Puskas Arena.
One thing Arsenal have been criticised for under Arteta is their defensive style. The Gunners are known for being solid but are not necessarily the most free-flowing side going forward.
That was in contrast to both PSG and Bayern on Tuesday. While the style has seen Arsenal evolve again into title challengers, a balance may be needed to take that next step.
A way to do that is to make big moves in the transfer window. Arsenal have been linked with Kvaratskhelia, who has developed into one of the best attacking players in Europe.
The Gunners’ search for another option on the left wing should now have the Georgia international at the top of the list, following his performance against Bayern.
They should push hard to try to complete any deal, but could come up against opposition from both PSG and the player himself. The French giants paid a reported £59 million plus add-ons to Napoli for the winger last January and are likely to want a lot more than that should they sell him.
The winger himself, as well as his father, have spoken about his happiness in the French capital , hinting at a desire not to move clubs in the transfer window.
It means that Arsenal could have an uphill battle should they pursue their interest. But if there is any hint of a change of mind from either Kvaratskhelia or PSG, then the Gunners should be at the very front of the queue.
