“We want Africa to be proud,” he said.

The joint hosting arrangement marks a historic moment for East Africa, and Mohammed emphasized that all three nations are working closely to meet the required standards.

“We are committed,” he implied.

According to him, preparations are already underway across infrastructure, logistics, and organizational planning to ensure a seamless tournament.

“We are putting things in place,” he noted.

Mohammed also highlighted the opportunity the tournament presents for the region to showcase its culture, hospitality, and football passion on a continental stage.

“It’s a big moment for us,” he added.

For CAF, the success of the tournament will depend heavily on the collaboration between the host nations, and Mohammed is confident that unity will be a key strength.

“We will work together,” he stressed.

As anticipation builds ahead of 2027, expectations are high for a tournament that not only meets but exceeds standards set by previous editions.

For Mohammed, the message is clear.

Prepare well.

Deliver excellence.

And make history.

Because hosting AFCON is more than organizing matches.

It’s about representing a continent.

And East Africa is ready for the challenge.
