Chelsea booked their place in next month’s FA Cup final thanks to a 1-0 win over Leeds United at Wembley Stadium.
Chelsea appeared to suffer no new injury concerns as they booked their place in the FA Cup final on Sunday afternoon. The Blues came out as 1-0 winners over Leeds United.
Enzo Fernandez’s first-half header proved to be the difference between the two sides. The win means that Chelsea will face Manchester City in the final on Saturday, May 16th at Wembley Stadium.
It brings to an end a hectic week for the club. Liam Rosenior was sacked following Tuesday night’s 3-0 away loss against Brighton, with Calum McFarlane taking interim charge until the end of the current season.

Chelsea currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League table, with the possibility of Champions League football next season slipping through their fingers. They now face a fight to play in Europe in the 2026/27 campaign.

Estevao
Injury: Hamstring
Chelsea were handed a blow before the game, with it revealed that Estevao will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury that he suffered during last week’s clash against Manchester United.
What has been said: “Estevao unfortunately won’t play for us this season,” McFarlane said before the clash against Leeds. “He will be out for a little bit of time.
“We’re not sure how long he will be out for but he certainly won’t play for us again this season, unfortunately.
“That’s really unfortunate for him, especially for someone so young and talented as he is but we are here to support him and be around him.”

Reece James
Injury: Hamstring
The club captain has missed the last seven games in all competitions with a hamstring injury, with no indication over when he could return.
What has been said: Speaking ahead of last week’s game against Man United, former boss Rosenior said: “Reece is a little bit further away.”
Possible return date: Unknown
Filip Jorgensen
Injury: Groin
The goalkeeper has not been available for the last nine games in all competitions after undergoing groin surgery.
What has been said: “Unfortunately, Filip had his scan and needed a minor operation,” Rosenior said ahead of the game vs Everton last month. “Nothing too serious again, it’s a matter of weeks.”
Possible return date: Vs Nottingham Forest (H) – Mon 4 May.
Jamie Gittens
Injury: Hamstring
The winger has been out since January with a hamstring injury. He was close to a return for the FA Cup quarter-final vs Port Vale but suffered a setback in the build-up to that match.
What has been said: “Unfortunately, Jamie, in training yesterday, picked up what looks like a hamstring injury again,” Rosenior said.
“We have to scan him and make sure. It’s a real shame for him; I think it’s the third time it’s happened. We need to help him and we need to make sure he’s okay. I can’t give you a time frame on that at the moment.”

Levi Colwill
Injury: Knee
The defender is yet to make an appearance this season after suffering a serious knee injury during pre-season. He is, however, stepping up his comeback, recently featuring for the U21s.
What has been said: “Very hopeful that we’ll see him before the end of the season,” Rosenior said. “He played 60 minutes for the Under-21s, and while it was a very low-level game, getting 60 minutes was a really good start for him.
“We want him to be involved in the next game on Saturday with the Under-21s, and build him up because it’s been a really bad injury that he’s come back from.
“His rehab has gone really well and he’s trained today. He’s made a huge impression on the group and you can really feel his presence on the training pitch.
“I can’t wait to have him back in with the group.”
