The semi-official news agency said that Iranian naval vessels escorted a bulk cargo ship owned by Iran carrying rice, despite efforts by the US Navy to seize it. It crossed the Sea of Oman safely and reached Iran, calling it a successful passage.
Pakistani sources told Al Arabiya that talks between the United States and Iran are continuing despite the current deadlock, adding that a decision on participation within Iran has not yet been finalised.
The Wall Street Journal reported, citing US officials, that fully replenishing ammunition used in the Iran war could take up to six years. It added that the US military fired between 1,500 and 2,000 air defence missiles and more than 1,000 Tomahawk long-range missiles since the conflict began.
