The US-Israel war on Iran has impacted the European Union’s economy by 0.2 to 0.6 percent, according to EU Commissioner for Economy and Productivity, Valdis Dombrovskis, Al Jazeera reported.
According to the report, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the skyrocketing of jet fuel prices has cost the EU approximately 584 million USD daily.
Amidst tensions in the blockaded Strait of Hormuz, Al Jazeera also reported that a vessel owned by German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd, amongst the world’s largest shipping operators, had successfully passed the Strait on Friday.
