Erling Haaland and Vinicius Jr. join World Cup campaign that could see fans land tickets for less than $1

Erling Haaland and Vinicius Jr. are spearheading a new campaign that could see fans secure World Cup tickets for less than $1 – and even sleep over at MetLife Stadium before the final.

The United States, Canada and Mexico will host this summer’s tournament, which will see teams and supporters from across the world descend on North America.

Ahead of the soccer showpiece, Marriott Bonvoy and Visa have launched a new initiative entitled ‘For Fans, Everywhere.’

They are offering members the chance to secure tickets to all 104 matches at the World Cup, which runs between June 11 and July 19.

Some will be available for as little as one loyalty point – which is typically valued at less than $1.

Fans can also win the chance to stay overnight at MetLife Stadium the night before the World Cup final in a ‘sleepover suite’ that will include views of the pitch below.

‘The World Cup is the biggest competition in football. Everyone watches it,’ Manchester City and Norway striker Haaland told the Daily Mail.

‘So when a campaign is all about the fans that’s important to me,’ added Haaland, who is promoting the campaign alongside Real Madrid and Brazil icon Vinicius Jr.

‘The bond we have with the fans means a lot to me.

‘So to be part of something where they can get closer to the tournament, win tickets, have experiences like the Sleepover Suite, that’s special.’
