Federal Government Is Showing Genuine Readiness To Invest In Nigerian Sports – Adebare Adejumo

The representative of Templar Adrenale, Adebare Adejumo has posited that the five-year partnership Nigeria signed with the United States-based outfit shows that the Federal Government has a genuine readiness to invest in sports.

Sports247 reports that Adejumo spoke with a deep level of optimism after signing the agreement with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s senior special adviser on grassroots sports development, Prince Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka.

Adejumo further pointed out that the agreement Nigeria reached with the American firm will help to strengthen grassroots sports development across the country, adding that the partnership is designed to revitalise the youth ecosystem.

He added after formalizing the deal in Abuja, alongside SSA Adeyinka, that the agreement comes with a strong focus on basketball, through provision of modern training equipment, improved facilities and structured youth development programmes.

The Templar Adrenale representative also highlighted expected impacts of the initiative, which he declared will bring long-term developmental values and discovery opportunities for young athletes across the country.

Adejumo, who was beaming with delight, expatiated, “This partnership offers a massive opportunity for Nigerian youths, not only in terms of exposure but also in harnessing the vast sporting potential that exists in the country.

“Having grown up in Nigeria and witnessed the energy and talent within our youth population, there is no better time than now. The response from the Federal Government shows a genuine readiness to invest in the future of Nigerian sports.”
