Man City prepare record Livramento bid
Man City are prepared to make Newcastle star Tino Livramento the most expensive right-back in the history of football, TEAMtalk claims.
The current record is held by Achraf Hakimi, who cost €68 million when he joined PSG in 2021. Man City consider Livramento their “dream” target for the right-back position.
Arsenal are also interested in the England international, while Newcastle do not wish to sell. Man City, though, will be aggressive in their pursuit of him. Alternative targets are Givairo Read and Michael Kayode, who are also on the radar of the Gunners.
Arsenal chase Monga deal
Arsenal are showing a strong interest in Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga, according to The Telegraph.
The Gunners are long-standing admirers of the teenager, while there is also interest from various other clubs. Arsenal, though, feel they are in a strong position to secure his signature.
Monga agreed a professional deal that will kick in when he turns 17 with Leicester last year, but the report emphasises that this does not mean that he will stay this summer. Leicester are at serious risk of dropping down to League One.
Chelsea and Man Utd battle for Sadiki
Chelsea and Man Utd are in contact with Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki, as per Sacha Tavolieri.
The two clubs have been speaking to the DR Congo international since at least December as they explore a potential summer move. Chelsea, it is claimed, have recently held “new talks” with the player.
Despite this, it is believed that Man Utd currently have an advantage over the Blues because they are on course to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Aston Villa plot Jones move
Aston Villa are planning to make a “concrete move” for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, TEAMtalk states.
The Reds homegrown has been struggling for minutes and is ready to leave the club for the good of his career. Jones was already keen to move in January, but a deal with Inter collapsed.
Jones is out of contract in 2027, with discussions over an extension so far proving fruitless. As a result, the midfielder will likely be sold this summer, with Villa showing a strong interest.
Alisson open to Juve move
Liverpool club legend Alisson is open to joining Juventus this summer, Tuttomercatoweb reports.
The Serie A giants have been linked with the Brazil international for several weeks as they look for a new No.1. Alisson is their dream target, and it is believed that he would be interested in the move.
One potential problem is his salary, with Juventus unable to match what he is currently earning at Liverpool. However, they are willing to offer the 33-year-old a competitive three-year deal. His Liverpool terms expire in 2027.
