All you need to know about the Sidemen Charity Match 2026
The Sidemen Charity Match 2026: Sidemen FC are set to take on YouTube Allstars in the latest instalment of the charity match. The event first launched in 2016 at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium and has grown into a sell-out sporting fixture.
2025 result: The previous fixture in 2025 was a record-breaking affair that saw the YouTube Allstars clinch a win via a 5-4 penalty shootout after a chaotic 9-9 draw. More importantly, the event raised an incredible £4.7million for organisations such as BBC Children in Need and Bright Side.
Date and kick-off time: The 2026 edition is scheduled for this Saturday, April 18, with the match set to start at 3pm BST. Viewers should make sure to join the broadcast early to see the players arrive and soak up the pre-game energy.
The venue: Wembley Stadium will host the match for the second year in a row, offering a 90,000-seat capacity for the highly anticipated event. Demand was so high that general admission tickets were sold out in just two and a half hours.
Streaming information: If you didn’t manage to grab a ticket for the game, you can still catch all the action for free through a high-quality stream on the Sidemen’s YouTube channel. The broadcast will include the familiar voices of commentators Stephen Tries and Spencer FC.
This year’s twist: While the group has been running these games for a decade, the latest instalment introduces a major shake-up to the format. This year, the Sidemen members will be divided between the two squads, creating internal rivalries that should make the fundraising effort even more competitive.
