Zsolt Hegedüs delightfully danced around the stage after the Tisza party, led by Peter Magyar, thumped Orban’s Fidesz by a landslide margin on Sunday night. The stage in the heart of Budapest was packed with celebrating politicians who were jumping with joy.
But Zsolt took the cheer to the next level, pulling moves straight out of a club and even appeared to do an homage to ACDC’s Angus Young’s hops across the stage.

His moves delighted the internet, with one online commenter stating: “I don’t know why, but he reminded me of Mr Bean by the washing machine, trying to get out of his pants.”
Zsolt is a candidate to become health minister, which social media users were quick to pick up on. One said: “He’s fit enough and has the moves to be Health Minister!”
“Right man for the job. Picture of health he is,” said another. The dancing was part of a larger celebratory mood in the Hungarian capital as the illiberal pro-Moscow Orban’s 16-year rule came to a crushing end.
The loss sent shockwaves throughout the world with both Moscow and Washington DC losing their illiberal ally. Just three hours after pills closed on Sunday, Orban accepted defeat.
“I congratulated the victorious party,” he told supporters. “We are going to serve the Hungarian nation and our homeland from opposition as well.”
