Celine Bize Donham is redefining how to balance sports and personal life – entirely according to her own wishes.
The Manchester United Women winger will welcome her first child in 2026 – a decision that could put many female athletes on hold. For Bize, her biggest fear is missing out on the opportunity to start a family.
“Missing a season is scary…but it’s even scarier to not have children in my career.”
At just 24 years old, in the prime of her career, she has chosen to pursue both dreams simultaneously, rather than postponing one for the other.
“When you have two dreams, you can achieve them both at the same time.”
Bizet knows he belongs to a small but growing group.
“It’s still very rare for footballers to have children.” And “I will definitely return to the football field; that’s my motivation.”
