According to Sports247, former national youth dream team striker Eberre Gudrak has invited several friends living abroad back to his homeland for a friendly match against Idowu Boys FC at Landmark Field in Kirk-Orilla. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 AM on January 2, 2026, where Eberre and his friends will face Idowu Boys FC from Orilla-Iganmu, the youth team he played for before moving to the United States.

He has now released a long list of overseas stars who will wear the “Eberre and Friends” jersey against the current Idowu Boys team. The Idowu Boys team is expected to include some former players such as Göztim David Onuador, Harrison Nyah, and Chinedu Obinor. Lagos New foreign signings include: Mondi “Obrotoyo” Samuel (Italy), Aboubakar Karim (Scotland), Bobowski Smith (South Africa), Christian Ofeli (USA), Shaqiru Abikoye (France), Paul Banni (USA),


Afurabi (France), and Joseph Solomon (France).


Other players joining “Eberle and Friends” include: Justin Casillas (USA), Tund Issola (Sweden), Jimmy Nwaoze (Netherlands), Nicolas


(USA), Michael Andre (France), Durosimi Adelek Pablo (France), Suxes Wasiu (France), and Gabriel Okcuku (England) and Okoy (France). Eberle told Sports247: “Besides the joy of reuniting after so many years and the opportunity to start the new year in our hometown, this match is also a tribute to some of our late coaches. We want to remember great coaches like Idou Martí and António Onuoha. They all helped us get to where we are today in their own ways. We will use this match to honor them. May they rest in peace.”
