Chairman of Akwa United Soccer Membership, Mr. Joseph Eno, has reaffirmed his dedication to guiding the membership again to the Nigeria Premier Soccer League (NPFL), following a solidarity go to by the membership’s Supporters Membership on Friday in Uyo.
The courtesy name, the primary because the inauguration of the brand new administration crew, was led by Prince Imaikop Sunday, Chairman of the Supporters Membership Electoral Committee. He conveyed the goodwill of members and pledged “unalloyed help” to the administration because the crew embarks on its 2025/2026 Nigeria Nationwide League (NNL) marketing campaign.
The supporters recalled their journey since 1997, reliving recollections of the membership’s Federation Cup triumphs and the historic NPFL title in 2021, whereas assuring the brand new board of their readiness to face by the crew in its mission to regain topflight standing.
In his response, Mr. Eno described the go to as a morale booster, vowing that self-discipline and fervour would drive Akwa United’s return to the elite league.
“We all know our mission, we all know our goal, and we don’t have a selection than to take Akwa United again to the Premier League,” he stated, stressing that success would solely come by unity between the crew, administration, and followers.
The chairman, flanked by members of his board, pledged continued collaboration with the supporters, insisting that “success is on the best way for Akwa United FC.”
