What a player Liverpool have on their hands, eh?
And no, I’m not talking about Rio Ngumoha (although he was excellent as usual) but rather fellow teenager Trey Nyoni, who was magnificent once again in the Liverpool midfield.
Every time I watch the 19-year-old in the middle of the park for the Reds, he just gets better and better. His passing range, the way he dictates play, and even his bravery in the tackle. The lad is a star.
The fact that Liverpool have both Nyoni and Ngumoha within their ranks is frightening for the future. They are going to have some team as the years go by.
Yet another stellar performance from their youngsters.
