Travis Kelce has revealed the hilarious early morning request from his brother Jason that left his popstar wife Taylor Swift completely stunned.
Speaking on the latest episode of their ‘New Heights’ podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs star admitted he feared the worst when his phone rang at 7.30am recently.
The revelation came as the brothers discussed Jason’s commitment to ‘Squatober,’ which led the former Philadelphia Eagles star to train at his brother’s home gym.
‘I knew Jason was doing Squatober,’ Travis explained during Wednesday’s show, laughing at his older brother’s relentless training habits.
‘He actually asked me how much weight I have in my basement. I didn’t even add it up. I just told him how many weights I had.
‘And he was like, ‘Oh, okay, cool, I’ll bring some.’ So he flew to Kansas City with – what was it, 50 lbs?’

Jason confirmed that he packed two 25-pound plates in his luggage just to ensure he didn’t miss a single lift while visiting.
‘A couple extra plates to throw on the old squat bar,’ Travis chuckled. ‘The most meathead thing I think I’ve ever seen Jason do.’
However, the routine took an unexpected turn when the elder Kelce brother began pumping iron while the rest of the household was still asleep.
Travis admitted his groggy mind immediately jumped to catastrophic conclusions when his phone began buzzing on his bedside table.
‘I get a call at 7:30 in the morning. In my mind, I’m thinking worst-case scenario,’ the Chiefs tight end explained.
‘I’m like, ‘Oh, s***. Is everything okay? Maybe after the run Jason’s in the hospital, he blew his knee out or something.’ The brain was just waking up.’
Instead of a medical emergency, Jason was simply calling upstairs from the basement gym looking for an extra set of hands.
‘Jason’s like, ‘Yeah, can you come spot me?’ I was just like, ‘No way!” Travis recalled.

‘I got my ankle wrap. And he’s like, ‘Nah, nah, it’s bench. It’s not squat.’ And I’m like, ‘cool, I’ll come down.”
While Travis was willing to lend a hand, his pop superstar wife was far less amused.
‘I’m walking out of the room, and Taylor’s like, ‘This is f***ed up.’ And I’m just like, ‘Nah, it’ll be good. It’ll be good!”
The hilarious exchange had both brothers in stitches as they recalled how Swift reacted to their unhinged sibling dynamic.
Both Jason and Swift were later in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium as Kansas City defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 to stay undefeated.
