Jendol Superstores Shut Down Wellborn Hotels as Daily Manna Serve Zudachi a Bitter Late Surprise in Island AllStars PatrickLingo Super League Thriller

The Island AllStars PatrickLingo Super League 2026 delivered another explosive afternoon of football on Saturday, October 17, as Jendol Superstores opened their winning account with a stunning 3-1 comeback against Wellborn Hotels, while Daily Manna Bakery served Zudachi Construction a bitter stoppage-time surprise in a dramatic 2-2 draw at the Lagos Business School Sports Arena.

Sports247 reports that Wellborn Hotels appeared ready to offer Jendol an uncomfortable stay when Ezenwaka struck after just nine minutes, putting the hospitality giants ahead and raising hopes of a return to winning ways.

But Jendol Superstores were not prepared to close shop without collecting maximum points.

Chibuike brought the supermarket boys back into business with a 30th-minute equaliser before completing his brace three minutes after the restart to turn the contest upside down.

Things became even more miserable for Wellborn when Moloks scored an own goal in the 75th minute, effectively checking the hotel boys out of the contest.

Jendol’s first victory lifted them to four points, leaving Wellborn with three points after suffering consecutive defeats.

In the second encounter, Zudachi Construction discovered that building a lead and protecting it are two different assignments.

Daily Manna Bakery opened their scoring account through Eddy in the 33rd minute, but Aguiyi restored parity eight minutes later.

Ike Ibe then put Zudachi ahead in the 57th minute, seemingly constructing another victory for the early league leaders.

However, Daily Manna had one final delivery. With defeat approaching, Sky-P converted a penalty in the 80+2nd minute, serving Zudachi a dramatic equaliser and securing a valuable point.

The result left Zudachi unbeaten on four points, level with Jendol but ahead on goals scored.

Remed Healthcare, who observed their scheduled rest day, remain on three points, while Daily Manna move to two.

With PatrickLingo Pharmaceuticals Limited sponsoring the competition, the five-team championship continues to deliver thrilling football, friendship and sportsmanship.

Jendol are back in business, Wellborn are searching for comfort, Zudachi’s foundations have been tested, and Daily Manna have proved they can deliver under pressure.

The title race is heating up!
