Dodgers star's wife shares disturbing message threatening to 'cut off fingers' after losing in NLCS

The wife of Dodgers star Blake Snell has revealed the terrifying threats she received on social media after the team’s latest National League Championship Series defeat.

Haeley Snell took to social media in the wake of the Dodgers’ 6-2 Game 3 defeat to Milwaukee, where her pitcher husband endured a brutal seventh inning.

As Los Angeles attempted to protect a 2-1 lead on the night, Snell allowed back-to-back homers and, in turn, sparked the Dodgers’ third-straight loss in the series.

On top of social media backlash aimed at Snell, wife Haeley was also targeted by online trolls, revealing one user threatened to ‘cut off her fingers’ after the defeat.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Haeley shared a screenshot of a direct message that read: ‘It’s simple: tell that son of a b**** to back off before October 20th.

‘Otherwise, I’ll cut off your fingers, one by one. I don’t care about spending 40k to track you down, you b****.

‘He has until October 20th. Consider yourself warned.’

Writing over the top of the post, Haeley said: ‘Tell me you lost a sports bet without telling me you lost a sports bet.’

The user didn’t make clear the significance of October 20th, however some fans online noted that day follows a potential NLCS Game 7, if the Dodgers come back.

Overall, Snell was responsible for four of the Brewers’ six runs during the 6-2 loss.

However, fans also lamented another sluggish offensive showing, with Los Angeles finishing 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and leaving seven runners stranded.

The disturbing threat highlights the growing wave of toxic abuse targeting professional athletes and their families in the legalized sports betting era.

Earlier this year, MLB, the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLS issued a joint appeal to state regulators urging lifetime bans for bettors who harass players and personnel.
