Edinburgh Rugby have confirmed that Scotland star Darcy Graham will return to action for the first time this season in Friday night’s Challenge Cup clash with Toulon at Hive Stadium.
As revealed by Daily Mail Sport this week, the winger has made a remarkable recovery from injury after initially being ruled out for the rest of the year with a bicep tear.
The damage had not proven to be as serious as first feared, with Edinburgh’s medical team giving the Hawick-born player the all-clear.
Now head coach Sean Everitt has included 29-year-old Graham in his line-up for the mouth-watering showdown with the French giants in the capital.
Graham is one of two changes to the side that made it three wins from three in the United Rugby Championship when they defeated Zebre in Parma last weekend.

Flanker Tom Currie joins him in the starting line-up, while Scotland veteran Grant Gilchrist could also feature for the first time this campaign after making his own return from injury and being named as a replacement.
Graham is the sole personnel change in the back three, with Malelili Satala shifting to left wing and full-back Piers O’Conor remaining as an ever-present.
Savouring Edinburgh’s meeting with the three-time Champions Cup winners, Everitt said: ‘The energy around the squad this week has been great as we move into our first European match of the season.
‘Toulon are a huge club, and with a big crowd expected we can’t wait to get stuck into the match in front of our home fans.
‘Toulon bring with them a huge pedigree in Europe and we know the challenge that will bring, but we’re excited to meet that challenge head on.’
