Donald Trump was greeted by a number of Baltimore Ravens players as he arrived in Maryland to announce plans for a new submarine facility.
Cornerback Marlon Humphrey, kicker Tyler Loop, punter Ryan Eckley and long snapper Nick Moore met the president at the event at Sparrows Point Shipyard.
Trump touched down ahead of the midterm elections to highlight a $3.7 billion investment by the military technology company Anduril to build components for nuclear-powered submarines at the shipyard.
Pictures showed the NFL stars – all dressed in suit and tie – shaking hands with Trump before they were given a shout out by the president during his speech.
‘These guys are making a lot of money – they’re doing very well,’ Trump said. ‘I think they’re 3-1 or something like that. They’re doing good!’
He then asked the four Ravens players to stand up.

Trump also revealed that he knows the mother of Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson
‘You guys are big stars… good looking guys,’ Trump continued. The president revealed that he nearly mistook Moore for a coach before being informed that the 33-year-old is the long snapper.
‘Nowadays, those long snappers, they’re very valuable. It’s an amazing job you do,’ he said. ‘And he has an unblemished record… I don’t know how the hell you do it.
‘He has a little gray hair, I notice. But they don’t care, they want him for one play. You look damn good, too.’
Trump then brought up Ravens superstar Lamar Jackson. ‘You have a great team this year and say hello to your quarterback,’ the president continued.
‘He’s a little bit injured but tell him I know his mother. I met his mother a few times in Palm Beach and she’s a fantastic, beautiful woman. But give him my regards, he is some player.’
Reports on Tuesday claimed Jackson could miss ‘multiple games’ after hurting his ankle in Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans.
