Real Madrid enter Alex Scott race in blow for Chelsea
Chelsea’s hopes of landing Bournemouth and England midfielder Alex Scott have been hit by the news that Real Madrid are also interested in signing the 23-year-old midfielder.
Jose Mourinho’s side have been scouting Scott in recent weeks and TeamTalk claims they are prepared to make a move, with it having long been established that Los Blancos are lacking a midfielder who can control the tempo of a match. Madrid are also tracking Adam Wharton.
The Telegraph reports that Arsenal and Liverpool are also seriously interested in Scott, setting him up as one of the players to watch in the transfer market in 2027.
Arsenal target €100m Juventus star Yildiz
Arsenal’s search for a left winger has led them to study a move for Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz, according to Corriere dello Sport, which notes that Bayern Munich also want to sign the Turkey star.
Juve are seeking to overhaul their squad and should they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, they may be prompted to do this by selling Yildiz.
The Turin giants are ready to insist on a price tag of €100m or more to sell the 21-year-old.
Man Utd get dream Balde update
Barcelona are willing to loan out Alejandro Balde during the January transfer window in a development that is ideal for Manchester United.
Balde has barely been given an opportunity this season under Hansi Flick and appears likely to remain peripheral in the German’s thoughts.
According to TeamTalk, the club is looking for possible solutions for him, and a move to Man Utd in January is a possibility that has been highlighted given that the Red Devils need additional cover for Luke Shaw.
