Madueke to stay?

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not want to sell Noni Madueke in January, as per Football Insider.

The winger has struggled for minutes so far this term, which has given rise to suggestions that he could leave the club in the upcoming transfer window. Atletico Madrid and Juventus are said to have registered their interest in Madueke.

However, manager Arteta will block any potential offers in the winter, while Madueke himself is keen to stay and fight for his place. With Arsenal having failed to sign a replacement for Gabriel Martinelli in the summer, selling another winger would make little sense.

Man Utd “assessing” Guirassy

Man Utd are mulling over whether to make a potential striker signing in January, TEAMtalk claims.

Benjamin Sesko is struggling with a recurring shin problem, while Joshua Zirkzee was keen to leave the club in the summer. Consequently, reinforcements may be required mid-season.

One option Man Utd are running the rule over is veteran Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy. The 30-year-old had a €40 million release clause this summer, so he wouldn’t come cheap in January, with BVB reluctant to lose him.

Acheampong interest

Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong is once again attracting interest, AS reports.

The England youth international had to make a decision on his future this summer. After a discussion with Xabi Alonso, he chose to stay at Chelsea, having been promised a big role under the Spaniard.

However, with the youngster seemingly having slipped below Wesley Fofana in the pecking order, suitors are yet again emerging with a view to potentially making a January approach for him.

Liverpool accelerate Camara interest

Liverpool have made “background checks” on AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, according to CaughtOffside.

The Reds are among the clubs showing a strong interest in the Senegal international following his collapsed last-minute transfer to Chelsea in the summer. Camara is likely to be on the move in 2027.

Liverpool are potentially preparing for life after Alexis Mac Allister, who has voiced his frustration at not being offered a new contract. It is understood that Camara is one of their key midfield targets heading into the new year.

Man Utd “working” on Mesloub deal

Man Utd have done “extensive work” on a possible deal for RC Lens wonderkid Mezian Mesloub, TEAMtalk writes.

The 16-year-old has burst onto the scene in recent games and is already earning comparisons to Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal. His emergence has piqued the interest of numerous potential suitors, including Man Utd.

The Red Devils have already done some groundwork on a future deal for the teenager, although Mesloub would not be able to move to the UK until January 2028. Benfica previously tried to bring him to Portugal, the nation he represents at the international level.
