A fast-growing striker with Dazzle Football Academy of Surulere, Ibrahim Oseni is giving thanks and gratitude to his mother for aiding the rapid progress he is currently making in the round leather game.
Sports247 reports that Oseni, who is a fan of Super Eagles’ striker, Victor James Osimhen, set tongues wagging when he hit six goals for Dazzle FA at the 2026 Seamoriow U15 League Championship in Ikotun, Lagos and was among the three joint-top scorers.
The youngster disclosed afterwards that he has learnt a lot under the academy’s coach, Uche Iyesele and the team manager, Femi Soluade since he joined Dazzle Football Academy in 2020, yet he is buzzing with great expectations of more heroics to come.
The senior secondary one (SS1) student at Evergreen Life High School, who revealed that English Language is his favourite subject, added that he wants to succeed in football so that he can reward his caring mum, Mrs Mariam Yemisi Oseni, for all the sacririfices she keeps on making for him in life.
Aside from his love for Osimhen, Oseni also revealed that he admires Lionel Messi of Argentina as well as the Spanish duo of Lamin Yamal and Predri, fromvall of whom he picks their major assets to combine into his own style of play.
“I am happy for what I’m learning at Dazzle Academy and I thank the officials for how they are helping me to grow in football. I believe they will help me become a star and reward my mother for all her efforts in my life.
“I also want to learn so much in order to be great like Pedri, Messi, Yamal and Osimhen. I like them because they inspire me in dribbling, passing and scoring. I also pray that I will make it big in football.
“I want to play for FC Barcelona of Spain and the Super Eagles of Nigeria; then I’ll be able to make my mother proud and reward her for all her efforts towards my career,” Oseni projected.
