Cowboys superstar has his home burglarized during training camp as thieves steal $300k of luxury items

Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb’s home was burgled while the team was in training camp ahead of the new NFL season.

Lamb’s property, located in Fairview on the outskirts of Dallas, was targeted while he was away in California with the team last month.

Four luxury bags valued at $300,000 were reported stolen from the home, according to Fairview Police Department records via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The incident reportedly took place between midnight and 3am local time on July 30, with police notified shortly after 1:20pm the following day.

An individual working on a renovation to the northeast side of Lamb’s property called police after noticing a broken window, which is believed to be how the thief gained entry to the property.

There are no known suspects at this time and an investigation remains ongoing.

Lamb and the Cowboys wrapped up the Southern California portion of their training camp on Thursday with the team set to return to Texas on Sunday after 26 days away.

The wide receiver is the latest NFL star to fall victim to a burglary epidemic of athletes in recent years.

Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow were all targeted while they were playing or on the road, federal authorities claim.

Targets also included NBA players such as Luka Doncic, Ja Morant and Mike Conley Jr.

Jewelry, cash, trophies and medals were among items stolen from residences while the athletes were out of town.

Items stolen from Kelce – while the Chiefs were playing at Arrowhead against the New Orleans Saints in October 2024 – reportedly included the jersey he wore when he won the Super Bowl for the first time with Kansas City.

In 2024, the NFL issued a security alert to teams and the players’ union following the burglaries involving the homes of Mahomes and Kelce.

While most of the robberies have occurred while the homes have been vacant, the property of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was targeted while his family was home in July.

Since 2024, seven men have been arrested and charged with crimes relating to the burglaries around the NFL.
