Mikel Arteta has confirmed Myles Lewis-Skelly will ‘100 per cent’ stay at Arsenal amid strong speculation over the midfielder’s future.

Lewis-Skelly then scored against Como in a friendly last Wednesday, after which he did a heart-shaped celebration to the crowd.

When asked if he is confident Lewis-Skelly will stay at Arsenal after this transfer window, Arteta replied: ‘100 per cent.’

Ahead of Arsenal’s opening Premier League match against Coventry on Friday, Arteta also confirmed that Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice are fit to be involved.

Saka and Rice came off the bench in the second half of the Gunners’ 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday.
